MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Day 1: Maun - Moremi You shall be received at Maun airport or at your place of arrival where your safari guide and team will meet you. You will then be collected to start off the safari to our camp in the Khwai - Mogotho area which is about 150km from Maun in the early morning. We will leave for the Moremi Game Reserve, we lunch en route and see some Moremi Landscape, we will have a campsite prepared ready for us were we will relax around a camp fire while we enjoy drinks and other refreshments of your choice.
Features to look out for; Desert animal species i.e. Oryx, Springboks, Antelopes, Wildebeests, Redheartbeasts, Good Lions, Good Cheetahs, Giraffes, Brown Hyenas, small carnivores like Jackals, Honeybudgers, Aardwolves, Ground Squirrels and good bird life, you will have the opportunity to see these animals.
The landscape is breath taking. We will further explore the Khwai area where we will have the opportunity to photograph the wonderful landscape and animals found in the surrounding, we will also enjoy the bird species found here and a majority of Antelopes, we will enjoy the game drives and en route to our camp for lunch and refreshments where we can rest and have a nap. We will have an evening drive to see the sunset before we relax by the camp fire and exchange the day’s experiences and also have the opportunity to learn more of the Moremi landscape, wildlife found and many other features.
Day 2 & 3: Moremi Game Reserve
After an early breakfast at 06am from Mogotho Camp, we will proceed to 3rd Bridge and Xakanaxa area in the Moremi Game Reserve extensively. We will take a break and refresh for the day, we shall then continue with the game drive where we shall have the option of Mokoro & Fishing, game drives where after we shall lunch en-route and on arrival at our campsite, we will set up before having an afternoon game drive in this widely spoken area. Features and wildlife to look out for; Part of the Okavango Delta Swamps, Predators like Lions, Hyenas, Leopards, Cheetahs, Jackals, Mongooses, Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants, Buffaloes, Wildebeests, Impalas, Tsesebe’s, Baboons, Monkeys. The vegetation found here is rich and green. We will be able to photograph the wildlife and enjoy the surrounding before we break for our dinner at our campsite at the Mogotho Campsite. We shall spend a night in our tents and leave the next morning after an early breakfast from our camp, we shall enjoy the wildlife species on our way back to Maun
